About Us

About us

Our founder, Rose Munroe, discovered the formula for empowering children through a unique holistic approach that encompasses meditation, self-expression, and understanding their creativeness. Rose developed this unique, beneficial process only after struggling with the health challenges faced by her own children and their personal battle with anxiety. Rose couldn't find constructive solutions in our limited, overly stratified healthcare system and was determined to help find a solution. Today, this problem has become an epidemic more than ever, and our children, teens, and young adults are aching from anxiety, stress, and depression that need to be addressed and healed.

As a result of a 20-year personal journey, Hansaa was born - an innovative, multidimensional approach that embraces crucial insights and techniques from spiritual traditions, coaching, painting, art/picture therapy, and energy work. All of which filtered through the lens of Rose's years of education and expertise.

As an individual, Rose has an incredibly strong and loving maternal presence - and the Hansaa brand has similarly tapped into the incredibly powerful and healing techniques from matriarchal traditions. It strengthens and builds children through empathy, love, compassion, expression, belonging, and creativity. Through these experiences, children come alive, participating in guided meditation, or expressing their feelings onto canvas. The results are immediate and profound, positively affecting their grades, ability to participate in sports, social lives, and more.

Our unique method

Hansaa offers an inherently positive approach. After all, troubled kids who are depressed are often just extremely sensitive or artistic yet without any way to express their feelings. Hansaa gives them the channels and the tools they need – tools that they'll use and develop over the course of their entire lives.

Hansaa is not talk therapy. Sessions are focused on their individual needs. If a teen is experiencing social anxiety, we spend time with them in an environment that stresses them and provide the tools to unleash the fear and fulfill them with joy. It's a stark contrast to one-to-one therapy with an authoritarian figure like a psychiatrist or doctor; experiences that many children (not surprisingly) dread.

Hansaa also believes children must have a healthy and knowledgeable support system at home. Every facet of a child's life is considered and addressed, including equipping parents and family with support, including a series of informative and enlightening talks with subject matter experts.

Hansaa empowers troubled children (while educating and guiding their parents) through self-awareness, creativity, and self-acceptance - equipping them with the tools, resources, and support they need to overcome anxiety, stress, and depression. Techniques and lessons that will last a lifetime.
